We, Arya Vysyas are spread over India and have business and trade as our main occupation. We follow rituals prescribed in the Vasavi Puranamulu, a text written in the late medieval times. Vasavi is the Kuladevata of the Arya Vysya.
We strongly belive that education is the key for any kind of lock in this world and we happily extend our hands to our people who are in need of any kind of help for their Education and started working for a new organization. A mamooth conference was held by Tamil Nadu Arya Vysya Maha Sabha (TNAVMS) in the year 1995 which was presided over by Shri.M.V.Narayana Guptha and our Governor His Excellency, Dr.K.Rosaiya Garuwas the Chief Guest. It was proposed in the said conference that a separate organization may be formed, mainly to focus on as how the people who are in need of help in rural areas can be helped. This idea was mooted by the Vysya Vallals Sarvasree G.Rajendran, G.R.Thangamaligai-Chennai, M.V.Narayana Guptha, Samudhralala R.Murali, N.Balasubramaniam, G.Kasturi Rangan, and many more….
The State Executive Meeting of TNAVMS was held at Kumbakonam in the year 1996 and a series of meeting was held after that in various locations to discuss the By Laws of the new organization. When it was approved by all the districts in Tamil Nadu Sri. A.B.Sudharsanam Chairman of AVR. Swarnamahal, Salem was approached to lead the organization. Shri. G. Rajendra Prasad, Vysya College, Salem, Advocate Sri.R.Balakumar and S.S.B. Prakasam, Madhukkur form the back bones in preparing the By Laws and there bloomed the new organization in the name of “ Arya Vysya Charitable and Education Foundation”.

The Silver Jubilee of TNAVMS was celebrated at Villupuram on May 10th & 11th 2008 in a great gala manner and a grand procession was organized on 11TH May 2008. Arya Vysyas from all parts of Tamilnadu in huge number joined the procession enthusiastically. The State Presidents of Arya Vysya Maha Sabha of southern states graced the occasion. Arya Vysya Charitable and Education Foundation was inaugurated amidst the huge gathering by our present Governor His Excellence Dr.K.Rosaiah Garu, who was the Minister for Finance, Planning & Legislative Affair of Andhra Pradesh then.
